Privacy Policy

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase).

Profile information: photo, bio, location, coaching specialties, certifications, and social media links you choose to add to your profile.

Coaching content: swing videos you upload, video annotations and drawings, recorded audio or video coaching notes, written notes, training programs, drills, and round/score data you enter.

Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan or pay for lessons, payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Device information: if you use our mobile app, we may collect a device push-notification token so we can notify you about new videos, messages, or bookings.

Camera, microphone, and photo library access: our mobile app requests these permissions only when you choose to record a swing, record a voice/video coaching note, or upload/save a video — we don't access them otherwise.

We use your information to operate the core features of SwingRelay: storing and delivering your videos, connecting coaches and students, processing payments, sending you notifications you've opted into, and improving the product.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Swing videos, annotations, and notes are visible only to the student who uploaded them and the coach(es) they're connected to.

If you choose to list a public coach profile, the information you add to that profile (name, photo, bio, specialties, location, and any video you upload) is visible to anyone who visits your public page or browses the coach directory. You control what appears there from your profile settings.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate SwingRelay:

Supabase — authentication and database storage.
Mux — video hosting, encoding, and streaming.
Stripe — payment processing and coach payouts.
Resend — transactional email (invites, notifications, reports).
Vercel — application hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security commitments.

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain certain records (such as payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

SwingRelay is intended for use by golf coaches and their students. Junior golfers may use the platform under a parent or guardian's supervision and with their consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without that consent, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

You can review and update your profile information at any time from your account settings. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing us. You can also disable push notifications and revoke camera, microphone, or photo library permissions at any time from your device settings.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information protected.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect.
